Confirmations

When Arbitrum One settlement ships, Plaidly will require 10 block confirmations before marking a payment confirmed. Arbitrum block time is ~250ms, so 10 confirmations take under 3 seconds. Full L1 settlement occurs within ~15 minutes.

Fees

Arbitrum fees are very low (typically $0.01–$0.10 per transaction). ETH is required for gas — Plaidly's receiving wallets are pre-funded.

Notes

  • Arbitrum One is an Optimistic Rollup with ~7-day fraud proof window for withdrawals
  • USDC on Arbitrum: use native USDC (0xaf88...) not bridged USDC.e for better liquidity
  • Arbitrum has extremely high throughput (~40,000 TPS theoretical)
  • Gas prices are typically much lower than Ethereum mainnet
