Fees

Tron uses an energy/bandwidth resource model. Simple TRC-20 token transfers (USDT) cost roughly $0.10–$1.00 depending on account resource availability. This makes Tron popular for USDT transfers globally.

Tron addresses start with T and are Base58Check encoded:

Notes

  • USDT on Tron uses the TRC-20 standard
  • Tron is the dominant chain for USDT volume globally
  • Some wallets display Tron addresses as hex (starts with 41) — both formats are equivalent
